(Banana Nut Bread)
Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter, softened (or margarine)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Method:
- Cream butter and sugar in a mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs.
- Then, add bananas and mix well.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt into another bowl.
- Then, stir flour into banana mixture until moistened.
- Add walnuts and stir well.
- Then pour into greased 5×9 inch loaf pan.
- Bake it at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
- Let it stand for 10 to 15 minutes to cool before slicing.
